Notice of Intended Procurement
Wilfrid Laurier University, 75 University Ave West, Waterloo, ON, N2L 3G5 is seeking proposals from qualified firms for Health and Dental Benefits for a 3 year period with the option to renew for 2 one year periods upon mutual agreement.
The contact person for all aspects of the RFP is Gwyneth Hall, Mercer (gwyneth.hall@mercer.com). All inquiries must be directed to this contact and no other person at the University should be contacted at risk of disqualification.
All documents must be downloaded from www.merx.com. For firms without a subscription to Merx, a fee of $49.99, payable to Merx, is required.
This Request for Proposals (RFP) is being issued to vendors able to underwrite and administer Life and Long Term Disability for eligible employees and retirees of Wilfrid Laurier University. Target coverage effective date is October 1, 2018.
This is a negotiated RFP with consecutive negotiations.
Please note: There is a separate RFP for Health and Dental Benefits, WLU018-007A. To be considered for both, separate proposals must be submitted, one for Health and Dental and one for Life and Long Term Disability. The University intends to award to one supplier for Health and Dental and one or more suppliers for Life and Long Term Disability. This may or may not be the same supplier for each RFP.
