Description

THE DELIVERABLES
Ornge is a 24/7 operation with a fleet at rotor and fixed winged air ambulance aircraft that provide air ambulance services to the Province of Ontario. The nature of Ornge’s business require Ornge aircraft to be in service with limited downtime. Ornge thus require the services of a customs brokerage firm that can provide 24/7 customs clearance services that will minimize Aircraft on Ground (“AOG”) scenarios. The services required include the following:

Technology and tools for importing and exporting shipments;
Canadian and US brokerage clearance;
Create commercial invoices for shipments and Temporary Importation Bond (“TIB”) as required;
Food and Drug Act (“FDA”) clearance;
Ability to issue bonds or be affiliated with a surety company; and
24/7 emergency response for urgent requests.

MATERIAL DISCLOSURES

Ornge will only entertain proposals from firms with authorization by the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (“CSCB”).
Provide 24/7 support to the Ornge operation throughout the Province of Ontario.
