Description:
The Request for Proposal ("RFP") is an invitation to prospective suppliers to submit non-binding Proposals indicating their organization's capacity and resources to provide laundry services for linens and towels a conference business within Housing and Residence Life

Conditions for Participation:

Insurance Requirements
a) Commercial General Liability Insurance against third party bodily injury (including death), personal injury and broad form property damage (including loss of use) and including products and completed operations liability and blanket contractual liability for an amount of not less than five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) per occurrence. Such insurance shall include a cross liability and severability of interests clause and an endorsement naming Ryerson University, its governors, trustees, officers and employees as an Additional Insured;
b) Standard automobile insurance for all vehicles owned, licensed or leased by the Supplier and non-owned automobile insurance, where required, for an amount of not less than two million dollars ($2,000,000.00), per occurrence for each type of coverage. Where the non-owned automobile insurance coverage is provided within a general liability policy, a separate policy is not required;

Bailee Legal Liability Insurance or Bailee Customers Floater with All Risks coverage for the amount of not less than two million dollars ($2,000,000.00), per occurrence

Time-Frame for Delivery/Duration of Agreement:
The term of the Agreement is 1 year plus four(4) optional 1 year renewal periods

At the end of the evaluation process, Ryerson University may identify one or more suppliers with whom it wishes to enter into negotiations, by written notification.

Mandatory Site Visit:

There will be a mandatory site visit for this RFP on March 28, 2018, at 3:00:00 PM for approximately one (1) hour. The site visit will be at the International Living Learning Center Residence and Pitman Hall Residence

Proponents are to meet the University representative in the lobby of Pitman Hall Residence. Toronto, Ontario M5B 2M2.

A maximum of two (2) representatives will be permitted for each proponent submitting a Proposal in response to this RFP.

If a Proponent does not attend the Mandatory Site Visit, their Proposal submission to this RFP will not be considered further for evaluation.

This is a mandatory requirement, however Proponents who attended the first mandatory site visit are not required to attend.

Proponents will be asked to sign with Ryerson’s Procurement Officer.

Proponents who do not attend the mandatory site visit, their proposal submission Shall Not be considered for further evaluation in this RFP.
