Hiring of consultant to review and recommend appropriate solutions for experiential learning process/practices
Centennial College has incorporated experiential learning inside and outside of the classroom and have increased engagement with faculty and the community, as a means to erase the boundaries between the classroom and the workplace.
We believe that learning happens best in a safe, guided and supportive environment, allowing collaboration and interactive opportunities for experiential and project based activities.
MAESD has introduced and funded a Career Ready Fund, providing Colleges with the opportunity to expand and increase experiential learning opportunities for student. Experiential learning is “hands-on” learning in a real or simulated workplace that helps prepare students for the transition to work. It also helps employers connect students and new graduates with the skills they need to hit the ground running.
The Career Ready Fund – Stream 1 provides funding to develop and expand innovative and sustainable partnerships that create experiential learning opportunities. Partners can include employers, publicly-assisted colleges and universities and others that create experiential learning opportunities.
