Description

As part of the province’s efforts to improve courthouse facilities in the Halton region, the Government of Ontario approved the construction of a new courthouse in Oakville which will consolidate two existing courthouses in to a single, centralized facility. The two existing court facilities to be consolidated in the HaltonRegion Consolidated Courthouse (HRCC) are:

2021 Plains Road E., Burlington (Superior and Ontario Courts of Justice)
491 Steeles Ave E., Milton (Superior and Ontario Courts of Justice)

The consolidation will provide adequate space for court operations and support services, meet all applicable codes and standards in accordance with MAG Design Principles, and implement enhanced accessibility measures into the design of the facility. The new courthouse will provide streamlined, convenient and equal access to justice for all residents in the Halton region.
