From Professional Services Firms/Agencies to supply:
One (1) Temporary Senior Procurement Specialist
for the Purchasing Services Unit

Responses are to be submitted in a sealed envelope (courtesy label included), which includes the prescribed form(s) as instructed to be delivered to Purchasing Services, Toronto Police Service (TPS), 40 College Street, 2nd Floor, Toronto, Ontario M5G 2J3, prior to 1:00:00 P.M. local time on Friday, February 2nd, 2018.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the specialist role is to promote the most effective use of Municipal funds in the acquisition of all material, equipment and/or services for the TPS all in accordance with the By-law and procedures. The specialist will be well versed in the ethics, industry standards, legalities, best practices and procedures in public procurement.

This position will be responsible for providing strategic and technical procurement advice on a full range of procurement and contract management matters for a variety of consulting, construction, business services and supplies.

The term of the contract commences mid to late March, 2018 ending December 31, 2018, and pending security background checks.
