Description:
The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto wishes to enter a support contract with a professional, highly qualified experienced Audio Visual technology and integration company to provide effective technical support services for its Video Conference infrastructure (VC) implemented between 2007 and 2011 and used primarily in supporting the Mississauga Academy of Medicine (MAM) distance learning program. This comprehensive coverage includes VC equipment and systems including all inter-connected components.
The specific services we require are Cisco/Tandberg reseller support
The infrastructure for which we require support consists of a wide variety and significant number of professional-grade equipment including (but not limited to):

Cisco/Tandberg H323 IP based videoconferencing codecs (MXP, C-series)
Cisco/Tandberg Management Server
(VCS) Video Communications Controller (gatekeeper)
(VCE) Video Communications Expressway (non traversal / traversal server)
(TCS) Tandberg Content Server
(MCU) Cisco/Codian Telepresence Multiple Control Unit 8350 chassis and media blade

This infrastructure is managed by the Discovery Commons, the Faculty’s central IT support unit. The support contract does not cover VC infrastructure that are locally managed by departments or programs

Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
Chapter 9 of the Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement
Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union

Time-Frame for Delivery/Duration of Agreement:
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of three (3) years, with an option to renew for an additional two (2) terms of one (1) year each. It is anticipated that the agreement will be executed on or around March 2018.

Negotiation:
At the end of the evaluation process, the University of Toronto may identify one or more suppliers with whom it wishes to enter into negotiations, by written notification.

Electronic Auction:
The process does not involve an electronic auction.
