Description

The intent of this RFPQ is to identify firms who have demonstrated their ability to provide expert, high quality services to deliver renovation projects as outlined in these documents.
This RFPQ contains all the information necessary to prepare a submission for these services. Proponents are invited to submit the proposals in accordance with this RFPQ.

This RFPQ is not a tender and dos not create contractual obligations between the Centennial College and any proponent.

Projects considered within this RFPQ are projects of varying size and scope (small renovations to large projects) with budgets ranging from below $100 thousand to over $1 million to a maximum of $5 million.

Pre-Qualified Companies shall provide management, administrative engineering and all technical services required to complete and deliver Centennial College Projects (New Construction and Renovation Projects). Typical scope of work includes (but not limited to) the following:

Site audits
Feasibility studies including options analysis
Pre-design
Detailed design
Project cost estimating
Code compliance reviews
Construction documentation
Application for permit on behalf of Centennial College
Construction contract administration including:
- - Leading construction meetings as required
  - Field reviews and issuing reports
  - Reviewing progress draws and issuing payment certificates
Monitor and assist with coordinating commissioning works
Project Close out including procurement and review of all warranties, manuals and as-built documentation

Pre-Qualified Vendors shall coordinate and liaise with other ongoing and future Centennial College projects. All work must be fully coordinated with all existing elements, services, systems, and features of existing facilities. A detailed scope of work shall be provided to the Pre-Qualified Vendors during the tender process for any specific project being issued for tender.
