Description

This bid opportunity is open to all interested suppliers. This is Part One - Prequalification of a two part Request for Tender (RFT). Only Bidders who meet the requirements of Part One will be invited to participate in Part Two - Bid Submission.

Manitoba Housing requires the services of a General Contractor for renovations and upgrades to a 14 suite maisonette.

The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, remove and replace windows, exterior doors, roof shingles, soffit, fascia, eaves troughs, downspouts and splash pads, entry slab to main building entrance; repair and paint stucco; insulate roof; new fire rated and insulated attic access hatches; regrade crawlspace and provide new vapour barrier; install new mechanical ventilation; remove selected trees; asbestos and mold remediation.
Work site location will be occupied during construction.
A mandatory site visit is scheduled for January 29, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. Central Standard Time (CST). Bidders are to meet at 1354 Fife St., Winnipeg, MB prior to 2:00 P.M. CST to sign the site attendance sheet.
Deadline for questions is February 3, 2019. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at nicole.doherty@gov.mb.ca.
Deadline for "Requests for Equals" is 10 days before the submission deadline of Part Two - Bid Submission. Anyone wishing to submit a request for equal must complete the form on the website www.gov.mb.ca/housing/mh/business/procurement.html and submit to the project manager at greg.popoff@gov.mb.ca. The form must be completed in its entirety or may be rejected.
Bid submission deadline for Part One - Prequalification is February 12, 2020 at 2:00:00 P.M. CST. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the ebid requirements.
