2019-106 - SUPPLY, INSTALL AND THE MODIFICATION OF SEA CONTAINERS

Niagara College is seeking bid submissions from qualified Service Providers to Supply, Modify or Retrofit Sea Containers, deliver and set them up (install) in a specific orientation at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus located at:
135 Taylor Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0

The containers will be used to house Niagara College’s Commercial Cannabis Production facilities.  Niagara College launched a Graduate Certificate program in Commercial Cannabis Production in 2018 – Canada’s first postsecondary credential in the production of commercial cannabis. 

The production of cannabis is a very highly regulated process, with very strict government regulations. Niagara College’s program will conform to all regulations and requirements, including providing a separate and highly secure learning environment/growing facility.

Drawing(s) and specifications have been included for your reference as Appendix A to this Request For Bids.   The College reserves the right to add, remove, or modify the scope of work as appropriate.

Work for this contract is to commence immediately upon notification of award approximately the first week of January 2020.  

Throughout the duration of the Project the Successful Respondent shall attend routine site meetings and progress meetings with the Niagara College Contact Person or Designate(s) to provide updates and review performance related issues.
