19-153 - FSRA Consolidation to 25 Sheppard Ave West

This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) is in respect of the project described in the RFQ Data Sheet (the “Project”) and issued by the Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation (“Infrastructure Ontario”) on behalf of the client or clients listed in the RFQ Data Sheet attached as Schedule 1 to this RFQ (the “Client”)

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is a new, independent regulatory agency created to improve consumer and pension plan beneficiary protections in Ontario. FSRA was created to consolidate with Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO). The Financial Services Tribunal (FST) will also be included in this Project based on their close relationship and operational similarities to FSRA. The vision of the Project is to consolidate these entities currently in separate locations into a single location in the Toronto area. This new vision for FSRA will create modern, flexible and collaborative environment. The Project consist of the lease hold improvements of approximately a hundred thousand square feet spread over seven floors at 25 Sheppard Avenue West. The new space will be constructed for general office use with consistent open plan for maximum flexibility for the future use following the Province’s realty transformation guidelines.
