Description

Centennial College is experiencing steady growth in its role as a post-secondary education provider in the Greater Toronto Area. While the College is staying true to its community college roots, market changes in the post-secondary education sector demand that approaches continually evolve to meet emerging challenges. In addition, rapidly expanding technologies, shifting consumer behaviors and evolving demographics demand that increasingly sophisticated marketing communication practices be developed

Scope of Work
Centennial College’s Marketing Department oversees the integrated marketing and communications for the College. As an extension of the Marketing and Communications team, the contract writer may provide writing and editorial services for (but not limited to) the following:

Print literature, including, booklets, brochures and reports
Advertisements, including both print and digitally based advertisements
Literature for College social media channels and websites

Materials created are aimed at various audiences and must take into account the strategic messaging and brand of the college, while meeting client expectations. The incumbent must be able to demonstrate the ability to create thoughtful, provocative written content, within the boundaries of established brand standards.

The incumbent will contribute to the enhancement of the College’s identity by developing written content as well as suggesting improvements, enhancements and solutions for the requested project(s).

The incumbent must have demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office.
