CCRFP ARIES RC19 - Remote Conditioner for Landing Gear Innovation Laboratory for Centennial College

The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain a price from remote conditioner suppliers to deliver, install, integrate, and commission a remote conditioner.  These chambers are designed to either deliver temperature-conditioned air to remote sites or operate as completely independent, self-contained temperature/humidity test chambers.  This will support the research by delivering a range of temperatures and different environmental conditions during the physical testing.
 

• Provide a suitable remote conditioner, based on laboratory’s purpose
• Deliver the equipment in Centennial College Downsview Campus,  assemble, integrate with other systems, perform testing the equipment (standalone and integrated)
• Onsite Training of personnel of test system operation and software operation
• Technical support after commissioning

• 1 set of remote conditioner and must meet the specifications below:
  • Temperature range of -70ºC to +190 ºC
  • Humidity range of 10% to 98% relative humidity
  • Control and stability: ±0.5 ºC; ±3% relative humidity at steady state conditions after stabilization
  • Interior dimensions of the chamber: 48”W x 48”D x 48”H
  • Chamber distributed shelf load capacity is 100 lbs and concentrated load is 50 lbs.
  • Chamber air flow: 2000 CFM
  • Temperature ramp rate of 5ºC minimum per minute between the range of 85º C and -40 ºC (with 15 lbs of steel)
  • Noise level during operation: 75dB maximum
• Must include the following accessories:
  • Fog-free heated viewing window and interior light
  • Two (2) 8” diameter insulated hoses (10’ long) with (2) 8” port plugs
  • One (1) adjustable, slide-out stainless steel shelf with two (2) support brackets on 2" centers
  • Two (2) 4" (102 mm) circular access ports, centered on the right-hand side and left hand-side of the chamber
  • Heavy duty casters and leveling legs
  • Safety relay that will protect the test article by removing power to in when the chamber is not running
  • Solid state humidity sensor
  • Sound deadening quiet package
  • Air supply damper
  • Liquid filled refrigeration gauges and refrigeration service taps
  • Air-cooled or Water-cooled condenser
  • Chamber pressure relief/equalization vent
  • Installation, Operation & Maintenance Manuals on USB (includes printed test documents, parts list & diagrams)
  • Stainless steel interior and powder-coated exterior
  • Local/Remote Thermocouple Selector Switch to allow Temperature Control at Remote Chamber
• Control system must have the following specifications and features:
  • Color touch-screen controller
  • Profiling includes up to 99 steps and 1000 cycles. Program ramp steps entering time or °C/min
  • Profile status view provides detailed information including the stop date and time
  • Open and plot historical trend graphs with selectable time interval
  • Profile Autostart
  • Real time trend graphs with zoom feature plots data on both axes
  • Data logging with custom file names, batch & lot numbers, operator notes
  • Easily download profiles, alarm files, audit trail files and data files to USB stick
  • Access data files directly from controller or PC
  • Email data, alarm history & audit trail files directly from the controller with a touch of a button
  • Fully configurable alarm settings and maintenance alerts

    • Includes humidity water demineralization filtration system
