Description:
York invites qualified Proponents to submit Proposals for P18-144 Repair and construction of Mechanical Utility Piping Systems for the Keele and Glendon campus’. York in its sole discretion may select one (1) or more qualified service provider to execute low and high pressure welding and threaded pipe fitting on pressure vessels and piping for the York campus’. This includes welding compressed air lines, chilled water, condensate, high pressure steam, and stainless-steel pressure vessels
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

- The company’s TSSA BPV Certificate of Authorization, and Contractor registration, TSSA approved Quality Assurance Manual
- City of Toronto Contractor Plumbing Licence
- Staff Steam Fitters (ST) licence,
- Staff TSSA G1 Gas Fitters licence,
- Staff TSSA PM3 licence
- Staff TSSA Oil Burner Technician certificate
- Staff Plumbers Licence complete with Cross Connection and Backflow Prevention Certification

Negotiation:
Following evaluation of all Proposals, it is York’s intention to enter into negotiations with the Proponent who offers the best overall value to York. During such negotiations, the scope of the Work may be refined, responsibilities will be delineated, implementation issues will be clarified and the final terms and conditions of any Agreement will be determined.
York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
