TA1 – EA 01.01195 - TA1 – EA 01.01195 – Pile Tailings Removal

6.0 TENDERS

1.  6.1 All Bids shall be Stipulated Lump Sum in Canadian currency unless otherwise requested, and shall reflect the Bidder's total proposed price for the Work including, without limitation, all taxes (except H.S.T.), assessments, levies and custom duties, overhead and profit. Bids shall be without qualification and in complete compliance with the Tender/Contract Documents.
2. 6.2 This is a two-envelope tender. One (1) original of the Part D - Envelope 2 – Price shall be submitted by upload to MERX on the Tender Form provided, fully completed, signed and sealed by a principal officer of the Bidder’s organization duly authorized to sign the Tender. Tenders shall be completed without deletions, alterations, interlineations or erasures. All blank spaces on the Tender Form shall be fully filled in. Failure to provide all requested information on the Bid Forms and failure to fill in all blank spaces may result in a bid being disqualified and rejected.
3. 6.3 This tender will close electronically using MERX. Bidders will upload One (1) original of the Part D - Envelope 2 - Price, no later than:  July 11, 2023 at 2:00:00 pm (Ottawa Local Time).
4. 6.4 Bids will be date and time stamped at the place of receiving the bids (MERX). Late bids cannot be uploaded. Bidders are encouraged to upload their pricing ahead of deadline to allow for any troubleshooting. No verbal, e-mail, telephonic or faxed Bids will be considered. However, a Tender may be modified by email until time stated for receiving Bids; the CM assumes no risk or responsibility with respect to the receipt of e-mails modifying bids and cannot guarantee that any e-mail modification will be received or reviewed by the CM and/or the Owner. The time of receipt of the bids shall be deemed to be the date and time indicated by the CM on such bids based on the designated clock at the place of receipt set out in section 2.5. The term “local time” shall mean the time as measured by the CM at the location of Tender submission.
5. 6.5 Bidders will complete the Envelope 1 – Part D - Technical Package portion and e-mail it in pdf format to both kpurdy@pcl-ed.com and hwannamacher@pcl-ed.com by July 12, 2023 at 2:00:00 PM (Local Ottawa Time).
