proposed intercom system is newer model not refurbished or military
surplus; comprised of two components which provide a wireless
full-duplex audio link between the aircraft's intercom system and the
users headset; the wireless aircraft intercom adapter component plugs
directly into the aircraft audio system using a U-174 connector;
wireless aircraft headset adapter component attaches to the users belt
and accpts a U-174 connector to connect to a standard aircraft headset;
the wireless aircraft headset adapter component includes VOX and volume
control knobs and On/Off and PTT buttons; The wireless aircraft headset
adapter component has a maximum weight of approximately 0.5 1bs;
multiple paired adapters can be co-located within the same aircraft
without interference; The proposed intercom system is capable of
performing under the following conditions:
Up to 25,000 ft altitude
Typical wireless range of 100m
6-8 hour typical battery life
Shock 20g (any axis)
Operating temp range (-15° to +50°C)
The proposed intercom system components have removable rechargeable AAA
batteries, that can also be charged in their component housing via micro
USB cable (provided)
The proposed intercom system has an encrypted radio frequency link to
ensure secure communications
The proposed intercom system comes equipped with a low battery indicator

QUOTATION EVALUATION:
Generally the lowest overall price of an acceptable item(s) in
accordance with the terms & conditions of the RFQ will be
awarded the order. Quotations will be evaluated based on suitability of
unit offered compared to the end users needs, product specifications,
delivery, warranty, price, quality of the bidder's performance in past
awards and any other terms & conditions indicated on this RFQ.
Failure to provide adequate information to evaluate the item offered may
be cause for rejection of your quote by the Manitoba Government
(Manitoba). Suitability selection to be at Manitoba's sole discretion.
Each product offered and service will be considered individually,
HOWEVER, the intent is to award this RFQ to one supplier in total (if
possible and economic to Manitoba) therefore bidders should quote on all
items if possible. (Economic evaluation to be at Manitoba's sole
discretion)

AUTHORIZED VENDOR:
Manitoba reserves the right, prior to any contract award, to secure
evidence to Manitoba's satisfaction that any bidder is the manufacturer
or an authorized distributor, dealer or retailer of the goods offered
and is authorized to sell these goods in Manitoba, Canada and upon
request will provide Manitoba with written evidence thereof.
