F18-INF-2020-004 - Lacroix Road and Ditch Rehabilitation – Culvert Replacement

The intent of this Bid call is to invite and receive bids to furnish all labour, materials, services, transportation and incidentals to perform the following work:
 
This Request for Tender (“RFT”) is an invitation to prospective Contractors to submit Proposals from Contractors as further described.

Lacroix Rd, between Butler Rd and Guindon Rd, has significant cracking and potholes and requires rehabilitation. In addition to the road rehabilitation, the existing Lacroix Road culvert at the North Indian Creek requires replacement. The road rehabilitation is to include full depth reconstruction of Lacroix Road at the culvert crossing, including removal of existing asphalt and granular.  The existing culvert crossing Lacroix Road is to be removed and replaced with a 2700 mm polymer coated culvert complete with retaining wall and protective riprap at the inlet and outlet. The roadway and embankment are to be improved with steel guard rails and riprap at the culvert crossing. Drainage issues will also be addressed with the realignment/regrading or cleaning of ditches.
