Description

This Request for Tender (“RFT”) is an invitation to prospective Contractors to submit Proposals from Contractors as further described.

Culvert CU-060 crosses Du Lac Road 140m north of the intersection at Duquette Road and is in need of replacement due to its poor condition. The existing ±1.0m diameter CSP culvert is to be removed and replaced with a 1.2m diameter HDPE culvert of similar length and at identical alignment / elevations. The project also consists of a roadway widening and reconstruction through and beyond the anticipated excavation limits. The existing roadside ditches will be maintained and widening will be facilitated through the installation of gabion basket retaining walls to provide stable roadside embankments. New steel beam guide rail will be installed locally along either side Du Lac Road. An unnamed 0.75m diameter CSP culvert approximately 45m south of CU-060 is to be cleaned and rehabilitated with a folded PVC alloy pipe liner (PROVISIONAL WORK).
